We had such an amazing time with Captain Dennis and Eve. The tour itself was very well led, fun and informative. Captain Dennis and Eve even took the time to recommend local beaches and restaurants to us. We are already planning to return on this trip.
This was a great experience. The boat and equipment were great and the locations were excellent. I went because Captain Cook snorkeling was recommended to me, but their second location was even better. I didn't want to stop! The trip guide and captain were very professional and nice. They showed us some local history on the way back and were very knowledgeable about the area. They provided snacks, juice, and water. I would recommend this tour.
Had a great time doing the manta rays night snorkel. The best snorkeling experience I've had. The captain and crew were so friendly and knowledgeable. We day so many manta coming inches from you. The exeprince was exhilarating to say the least. Something you must do when visiting the Big Island.
What an incredible experience. Our captain, Craig, and crew (Rhianna) went above and beyond to make the afternoon memorable. We took the Captain Cook snorkel tour and it did not disappoint. The area had so many fish. You did not have to look hard to find them. While my family and I enjoyed snorkeling, the welcome surprise was the tour of the coastline on the trip back. We had an absolutely amazing experience with Dolphin Discoveries! We booked the 4-hour snorkeling tour, which took us to two incredible sites: Kealakekua Bay (Cook’s Monument) and Puʻuhonua O Hōnaunau. Both were stunning and full of marine life. From the moment we arrived, the customer service was excellent. Our guide, Shelly, was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and made us feel welcomed and at ease. The entire crew was professional and clearly passionate about what they do. The Kona snorkel tour was a must! At Cook’s Monument, we swam among an amazing variety of tropical fish . I felt like I was in an aquarium. The manta ray night tour was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Watching these gentle giants glide beneath us in the moonlit water was breathtaking. I don’t have pictures in the water because I didn’t bring inappropriate camera but the boat ride to our snorkeling sites was beautiful! Highly recommend Dolphin Discoveries to anyone visiting Kona. Truly one of the highlights of our trip!

Great excursion! Clear email and text messages with information prior to departure. Easy and quick departure after everyone was accounted for. Solid crew that ensured everything went smoothly. Excellent vessel that got us out and back, fun swim around the reef where we saw fish, a turtle and a sea lion! We saw plenty of dolphins, many came up to the side of the boat.
Very fun, the crew was excellent and very kind. Sienna, especially were wonderful. Our crew was Captain Dave, Bronson, and Sienna were great.

Absolutely amazing! The captain and crew were awesome. We saw whales, dolphins, and turtles. The snorkeling wasn’t great because of all of the nearby swells, but we still had a blast. The whole experience was great and we would totally do it again. So worth it!!
